The Center for Best Childhood Education
St. Xavier’s English School is a co-educational institution run by the Catholic Minority Community for the members of Catholic Community and recognized by the department of Education, Gujarat State. It is managed by the Congregation of Carmelites of Mary Immaculate (C.M.I.) though a registered body Kutch Seva Trust-Bhuj. It comprises K.G. Junior, K.G. Senior and Standard I to XII. The medium of instruction is English, but due importance is given to Gujarati and Hindi. The courses of study are strictly according to the syllabus and Text Books approved by the Government of Gujarat State. St. Xavier's School is managed by the Reverend Fathers of the Carmelites of Mary Immaculate (CMI) and by the Reverend Sisters of the Congregation of Holy Family. (CHF)

Our Educational Programs & Special Features
The aim of the school is to provide boys and girls a formative and liberal education is English medium. True education pays keen attention to all the human aspects moral, intellectual, social and physical. The pupils are trained to develop their grasping power to acquire a sufficient degree of knowledge, self-confidence, efficiency, steadiness of character, habits of industry and trustworthiness in life. The school authorities consider it their duty to respect the religious feeling and the freedom of conscience of their pupils belonging to various religious communities. Moral Science is taught in all classes. It aims at teaching the pupils to fulfill their duty to God, to fellow men and to self. Refinement of manners, habits of obedience and order, neatness in person and dress and, above all punctuality are required at all times.

Gardening
The Toddler and Preschool Groups have a garden in their outdoor space. Each spring, the children and teachers contribute and create beautiful and educational container/raised bed gardens.
Sport
Children need to develop large motor and small motor skills and cardiovascular endurance. Extensive physical activity is also needed to address a growing problem of obesity in American children.
Art
Kids will love designing and creating puppets and collages, constructing musical instruments and flower bouquets, and painting, gluing, and crafting to their hearts’ content!
Excursions
Excursions form a vital part of a child’s early education. They expose a child to a range of different experiences and enable them to gain a sense of the world in which they find themselves.
Outdoor
Our children benefit from a variety of outdoor play spaces. In addition to our playground, they experience the natural wonders of the forest, the big field, our raised gardens and nature walks.
Math
A preschool math curriculum should be taught using preschool lessons including interactive activities, learning games, printable worksheets, assessments, and reinforcement.
Literacy
A systematic and integrated literacy program promote language development preschool children. The program uses systematic, direct instruction built around a series of weekly books in the classroom.
